Good overall, but...

Why did you make up your own boss fight? You could've just ramped up "The Wall" and worked with that. The giant snake thing seemed really out of place.

There is a similar boss in the first contra video, but I changed it up a little...the old one looked ugly and shot stuff out of its mouth...lol

This is probably one of the best submissions from Madness Day, and to me, it still is. You did a hell of a job, and honestly, it looks more like an intro movie to some epic video game then a simple flash animation.

The animation is smooth, the story is solid, there's plenty of video game references (Combo Breaker and "Collossus Mode"), among others.

I, like many people, can't wait to see the rest of it.

My only complaint which ties right in with everyone elses, was the length. You feel like you're getting to some huge joke, then it ends suddenly.

Other then that, it was fairly good. The animation was smooth, and the sound effects were good, though that's probably because they were taken right from Half-Life 2.

Top notch animating.

The only thing that kind of iffed me was the whole castle design. It's practically a carbon copy of Hooktails Castle in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, with the switches, dry bones, and the bridge to the tower bit at the end. Hell, you even put Hooktail in there.

How's Mario going to beat Hooktail without exploiting her weakness to crickets now XD?

I feel like saying something along the lines of "Ness can't do half that crap" (I.E. telporting), but then again, we have sprite movies with Wario firing a kamehameha out of his ass.

As said though, I would've liked to see all the characters duking it out. I couldn't help but LOL when Dad and P-Bot starting going at it, and that fight would've been grand.

I've always like your Thwomp series

But your use of words like "emm, pwn, meh" makes my ears bleed. You really don't sound them out like that, they're similar to words like "uh and um". Or at least make it so that not every person sounds it out.

Also, why do you pronounce pwn like "pu-when"? You do know it's a simple missspelling of "own" right? Hence, it should be pronounced similarly.

Anyways, the ending really cracked me up with him 5 years prior to the first movie. And using your avatar as the new castle wall paint was good too.

Of course, Mario provided a good amount of humor (LETS SQUISH 'EM!"), followed by Luigi's pleas of him to stop.

As said, the scene with them finally landing on bowser was a little overdone at the end. The tetris bit was fine, but it just seemd silly when you simply synced up multiple shots of them sitting there with the music.

Overall, a very good movie otherwise.

PS. Funny how you and rebaz get into pissing fights, when I love both of your movies.

You forgot one thing.

It was also ported to the PC, although it was really just a PS2 port with an adjustable resolution. But you needed a gamepad to play it properly (they didn't throw in mouse support, those laze-asses.)

Like you, I can't help but play ZH.

But I have to strongly disagree about Renegade. It may not have been officall made by the true westwood guys, bt the game is still considered to be pretty good.

Tiberium Wars was decent enough, though very badly balanced until the (checks calaneder) 5th patch, and even then. Before that patch, all people had to do was mass Scorpion Tanks.

And to the reviwere below who talked about Ubisoft...

Don't get me sted on those asses. They don't even bother to change stuff for ports, especially the PC ports. You pretty much haveto have a gamepad for DMC 3 and RE4 fo the PC to get a decent experiance.

Well atleast Ubisofts gives their costumers an acceptable WORKING patch-support. EA can't do anything correctly, they fuck up and still get the money ... what a joke.

My only complaint is that you used pretty much every sound effect and voice from F.E.A.R in there.
